Yo hice
muchas cosas hoy. Yo me desperté a las
7h30 y me duche para ir a la escuela. Yo
comí dos trozos de pan con mantequilla. Entonces Claudia y yo anduvimos a la parada de autobuses y yo vi a
Kianni. Yo no vi a Kianni toda la semana
y yo estaba muy emocionada para encontrar a ella. Entonces, nosotros fuimos en
el autobús. Nuestros autobuses aquí son diferentes a los autobuses amarillos en
los EEUU. Las sillas son más cómodas que las sillas en los autobuses amarillos
de los EEUU. Después del autobús, yo vi mis amigos y yo estaba muy emocionada
porque yo no vi algunos durante el fin de semana pero está bien porque yo pase
un buen rato con mi familia anfitriona. Después
de ver a todos mis amigos americanos, nos fuimos en un autobús para ir a un
taller de cocina.
Today
I did a lot of things. I woke up in
7:30am and showered in order to go to school.
I ate two toast with butter. Then Claudia and I walked to the bus stop
and I saw Kianni. I did not see Kianni
all weekend so I was excited to see her. The school buses here are different
then the yellow school buses in the USA. The seats hear are more comfortable
than the seats in the yellow school buses. When I got off the bus I was happy
to see some of them during the weekend but that was fine because I had a great
time with my host family. After seeing my American friends, we went on a bus to
go to our cooking class.
Primero, nosotros
nos pusimos delantales y gorros de cocinero.
First
we had to put on our aprons and chef hats.
El chef
entonces nos enseñó como hacer pan de harina, agua y levadura. Después del pan, nosotros nos dividimos en
dos grupos, uno que hizo paella de mariscos y otro grupo que hizo tortillas españolas. Primero, yo hice la paella con Anthony,
David, Liam, Kianni y mas personas. Yo cogí
las gambas y los mejillones y limpiamos todo el marisco.
The chef taught us how to
make bread out of flour, water and yeast. After bread making, we were divided
into groups, one group made paella with shellfish and another group made
tortilla Española. First, I made paella
with Anthony, David, Liam, Kianni and other people. I got the shrimp and
mussels and cleaned the shellfish.
Después de
la paella nosotros hicimos una tortilla.
La tortilla española que yo hice es muy fea. Yo trate hacer una buena tortilla pero no
trabajo.
After
the paella, we made tortilla Española.
The tortilla I made was ugly. I tried to make it well but I failed.
Para el almuerzo, yo me senté con Pierce, Señor Gómez, y Anthony. Me gusto el pulpo con patatas mucho.
For lunch, I sat with Pierce, Señor Gomez, and Anthony. I liked the octopus with potatoes a lot.
Después del
taller de cocinar nosotros volvimos a la escuela y Claudia y yo tomamos el autobús
a su casa. Cuando nosotros volvimos, yo me dormí la siesta. Entonces, Claudia y
yo nos reunimos con algunas de sus amigas y nosotros anduvimos a la playa. Yo
vi algunas de mis amigas. Juntos,
nosotros jugamos mucho deportes por ejemplo futbol y futbol americano. Yo no soy buena en deportes pero fue
divertido. Entonces nosotros nos metimos
en el agua pero hacia mucho frio! Fue divertido nadar en la playa. Yo tuve un día buenísimo!
After
the cooking class we returned to school and Claudia and I took the bus
home. When we arrived, I took a short
siesta. Then, Claudia and I got together with some of her friends and we headed
to the beach. I saw some of my friends
there. Together, we played sports like soccer and American football. I’m not
very good in sports however, it was fun. Then we decided to get into the water
and it was cold! It was fun to swim at the beach. I had a fabulous day!
